I'm estatic because not only are they the biggest I've ever caught, I've not had tremendous success this time of year since I left Minnesota. It's not easy to get walleye this big in Ohio that aren't caught out of Erie. Most lakes don't even have walleye...it's all saugeye.

Ive been fishing that fishery for years......I love Saugeye. Ohio has 'em.....big ones at that. They taste every bit as good as a walleye.

No saugeyes in this lake, but there's plenty around our area. The biggest saugeye I've ever caught was 3.5Lbs. I agree with Buzz, I've decided not to keep them anymore. They were holding so many eggs, I had to remove the egg pouches so I could fillet the darn fish. And the fillets really aren't surprisingly big.

I won't be making it four in a row as I have other plans. I am taking a day off next week when the weather gets warmer and going at it again. Crappie should be biting good too.
