Sad day in Howell for sportsmen (Dicks)

   Just thought I'd mention I went by Dicks Sports Center in Howell this afternoon. They started a going out of bissness  sale today. Not try to post any type of advertisment for them or anything. Heck, the discounts weren't that great yet.
  I truly loved going there. Lots of outdoor/ hunting/ fishing stuff. I'm really gonna miss the place.

  Actually Dicks Sports Center is not part of the Dicks chain. The've been around a real long time. Family owned store. Real large rifle and handgun selection as well.
  There really is no comparison to the chain store. I think the big chain stores are what did them in.

It's sad to see.  I've only been there once, but it was a nice shop.  It was really one of the bigger non-chain stores around.  Where are you guys going to get bait out there now that they're gone?
