went this past sat and used #8 treble hooks and worked well for me. hooked most in the corner of mouth and saved the bait also. put back dead bait and still caught perch on them. hope it helps.

have used them in the past, but seem to get more hook sets and fish on the treble. just don't wait too long to set the hook b/c they could swallow the hook hope it helps

only bad thing with treble is if u dont plan on keeping them it sometimes kills them if it gets even a little to deep in there throat

if you don't plan to keep just clip the hook off and it will rust out in couple days, or so (i heard)

Sure it's been visited on the shanty before, but I use small circle hooks, too, and have been met with relatively good success.  I prefer to use small trebles on the tips when fishing crappies, however, seems to have been much more effective.  I'm generally targeting perch, with mono leaders, and more often than not, I get those pickerels hooked near or outside of those sharp teeth.......

Perch usually get a #14 treble or a #12 circle hook, bass or pickerel #6 or #8.
I use a red circle hook but don't know how much it adds to success, when their biting their biting and when their not well you know......leave the tippers and find the bite. honestly when it comes to perch and live bait I would rather drop shot.

Bulk hooks I don't know about Fish307 but they are a sponsor if not cabelas has a pretty big line.
