Am I the only one that hasn't gotten out yet?

Between work, no ice, and a 6 month old kid, the only ice I have seen is on my windshield.

Is anyone else still longing to get out?

Just came back from them, Its snowing pretty well here, and I heard today that one of the lakes (high altitude) has 6 inches of ice.    In Virginia!    haha

I've only been out once - had to travel to find ice.  I hope to fish both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, but will need to bust my ass this week to free up the weekend.

What the hell am I doing here wasting my time. ???

     Got your hands full with the little one and work, eh? Happens to the best of us, don't sweat it, like you said maybe Sunday. I did't fish much the years my 2 were born either but, did manage a trip or two. Thanks Grandma! ;) :) :tipup:

I got out for the first time today.  went 1 for 1 on a tip-up, and didn't mark a fish with the vex.

Awsome, Good luck if you do.    Depending on how this job situation works out Im hoping/trying to plan a trip north to do some fishing.

I know this sounds dumb now..but everyone gets tied up with kids fishing.  Kids will grow up and leave.....the fish will always be there.  So enjoy!  However, you do need a outing now and then to keep sane, and think about stuff without interuption.

Dont feel bad. I felt the same agony with not getting out. I just got out for the first time in 6 years last week! Living in central nebrask our ice dosent usually last that long.
