i havent fish it since the early 80s but there is a public parking area off route 20 on the south end. i use to fish and park on the north end off owegontha road where the little boat launch is. i dont know if there is still parking there[ its been over 20 years] but the dec might have info or ask some of the regs that fish it. it was a great gill and crappie lake but 1 year the late fall weed kill took alot of gills in the lake :'(. i didnt see it but was told the little north west bay was covered with dead and dying fish, mostly gills. it was always good for quite a few monster gills and the occasional walleye. night fishing for crappies in the north east corner was exceptional. hope this helps some, tight lines and only fish safe ice.

Good place to take kids but tough to get on. Better places for sure.

when you fished caz, where'd you hit it and what were the ice conditions?  Thinking of getting out there this weekend....

A friend of mine fished it yesterday said the ice on the north end was 2 1/2 inches with 4 inches of snow on it. ::)

fished the north end by the swamp then worked my way south around the point. 2 1/2 to 3 1/2  inches of good ice.

Was out yesterday evening for the crappie bite - that didn't materialize fully.......was 3" ice across the north end of the lake, plenty of slop, as usual.

They're developing a new State Park on the east side with a launch for "car top" boats.  I don't know if there is any winter parking there though.
Fish may be stupid but I've never seen a perch sitting in a boat with a second degree sun burn trying to catch a man.
