Hey Guys
Excellent idea!
Just another thought though, make sure you also decide on the privacy code or what ever it's called. Otherwise you will here the other party but not be able to talk to them. I usually leave them set at 0 that way there is no delay in the transmision.

We use them alot when I go out with group of guys...usually 4 or more, then we seperate and search for fish. When some one is onto alot of action, he calls others on radio so we can all have fun catching. I would keep them in shirt pocket in coat otherwise they eat up batteries quickly. Many channels to chose from but privacy is good if in high traffic areas. We don't have that problem in BC. They also transmit a good distance as lake is open and direct line to others with no interference from trees.
I know I'm not from Sask but just wanted to give you guys a tip on using them..
