circle hook set up

fishing with circle hooks does a guy use them in a pickeral rig? or do I just put weight about 1 foot from the hook and just use the single hook

Hi saskman I think you could use them eather way, both would work.

For myself I don't add split shot I just let the hooks weight take the lure or bait down, but if it's really large bait a split shot or rubber core sinker a foot up would not hurt. :)
