we were at bigwood and watched some snowmobiles flying across the lake where ther was less than an inch of ice     and everyone who was fishing close to shore just watched them with their jaws open thinking that if they were to even slow down they were going in   i guess it takes all kinds

Dead is dead.  There are no second chances.  Before you go out onto this terrible ice ask what will my family do without me.  I express my sorrow to the family and hope this is the last one of the season.  Think people.

yeah saw the warden on the news......but most of us have done stupid things before and venture out too far but before it gets labelled a hoax.....what does one do when you go out and find the ice too thin...back track the same way you came in as not to fall in.............no its fustrating on both ends but....maybe some should have checked that before calling in the calvary...life jacket, rope, and a bunch of common sense when playing on this early ice...............
Donuts !!!!!
