yesterdays trip with pictures.

these northerns were caught yesterday (dec.26/06)

this first one was bout 13-14 pounds

this was weighted out to be 16 pounds(which is getting mountd ill post a pic when mounted)

we made a little live well in the ice and the pikes lived the whole day :)

thats another picture of the northern thats gonna be mounted

another northern that was +10 pounds, we caught about 30-40 northerns and all except 2 were 8 + pounds, good day out

You guys had a great day! Here in Pa we have not had ice yet and the next week or so also looks too warm. How thick is your ice?

ice is about 12 inches.
ps. pa as in prince albert sask. or else where

Do sask. pike swim upside down? I see that white belly pokin out in the "live" well.  :woot: :roflmao:

haha yea thats true but he was still alive, but playin dead  ;)

Nice fish! That sure is a special fishery, around here I usually have about 1 shot in an average day at a pike over 10 lbs...dozens of 10 pounders would be awesome to catch I bet! I especially like the pic of that one pike next to the dog.
if anybody from michigan will help me out with the lakes and stuff up here I'd really appreciate it since I'm new to the area.
