Got a fish today

Well, Merry X Mas to me, I got my first fish through the ice today in 25 years. I know, I am an ICESHANTY.COM regular, but as a few of you know, I lived down south for a few years, not to mention serving in the US Navy after high school. The last time I went was when I was 6 years old. I caught a 5 lbs walleye today after getting skunked the first time out, so needless to say, I am happy. So buying the gear pre-season and getting an education on here paid off.

My dad and I fished on Cedar by Trimont MN. Bad thing was, we had to leave about 10 minutes after I caught that walleye, my dad had plans. About 4 in the afternoon, after getting out there at 9 AM. The lake was getting packed, and my old man said we were leaving when they were gonna start biting, so that sucked
