How did you hear about ice shanty?

well there are so many people on this site i was wondering how you guys got involved with it? me personally i just heard about it from a guy that was talking about it at a store. I decided to try it out and now im addicted!! so tell us how you got invloved into the lovely life of ice shanty!!

while sitting around waiting for ice.i googled ice fishing forums.about 4or5 different ones came up.i looked at the others and decided this was the one.they cover the whole scheme from tech tips to humor.a wealth of knowledge to be learned here  :clap: :thumbsup:

Same as PP01.....Just googled up Ice Fishing and found it. Surprised I never saw it earlier. It is a great site with a ton of info.

One summer I was sitting around with the "ice fishing blues" and searched the internet for "ice fishing" to take my mind off the fact that it was +100 degrees F.  Found this site and I have been hooked ever since.

On a side not, Am i the only one who gets depressed when the sun shines?

I found it a few years back when I was looking for icefishing pictures. One of the links I found led me to the photos section, and then I would visit it daily

I met a guy on Skaneateles Lake that told me all about the site.
I couldn't wait to go home and sign up.
I think it is the best thing I could've done as far as teaching me more about this awesome sport.
My girlfriend could argue this point though :whistle:

I met a guy on oneida lake ny that told me about it about 5 years ago idid not have a computer. now i cant seem to get away from it  if we could get some ice maybe my eyes would stop falling out tight lines to all.  :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
