Just like the movie.
I check the long range forecast everyday. The D*mn thing never changes! 40's as far as the eye can see. Enough already.

hey hollywood, you may remeber me, or my dad (hardcore), he hasn't been on in a while.  I'm sure Skinny isn't even close to having ice yet, but let me know when there is some hard stuff out that way.

I looks as though Skinny won't feeze up again this year.
If it does...there should be some GREAT perch fishing...no ice last years means no pressured fish.
I really hope we can get on Skinny this year...what a great fishery :)

Oh joy just checked the 10 day for Schenectady and it's showing 54 for a high next Saturday. I so hope that they are wrong. I'm beginning to think I need to find a new winter hobby.


Dec, 24th 8:00am *Well they just updated the forecast bringing the high temp down to a "chilly" 46.*

Dec, 24th 5:00pm *They just updated the forecast again bringing the high temp down to a 33.*

Hey, "Perch eyes" !
I'll be very surprised if I see you or Hardcore out on Skaneateles this year unless its from a boat. The conditions required to get decent ice out there only happen every now & then. I can only think of a handful of years over the last 30 or so. Heck- I'd settle for a farm pond about now. We made good use of the ice the year I met you guys there though! Is that a skinny laker you're holding in your avatar? Good luck- stay dry, hope the ol' man gets his 3 wheeler out afterall- tell him I got his back so he won't get beat up!

haha, the three wheeled bike.  That Laker in my pic was caught on the south end of Owasco, 32" still my biggest one from the fingerlakes.
