Man I never realized, I was never much of a Crappi fisherman, my friend just got a flasher and we have started. When I got my 1st (3 in a row) all 17 and 18in had NO idea what I had as i fish for pike and so an 18in fish was small. This year through the ice, mostly 12 and 13in one just shy of 15. I guess we have it good here or maybe I just have had some good luck and now that I am trying ... well you get the point

they were a nice feeling, I'm on them now at the same spot, breeders though, they're going back down the hole unless I get one 16 then it's going to be a decoration

Those are beauties. Congrats.

Consider a fiberglass replica though when you get your monster. I once caught one over 17" and put her back. I am thinking about having a fiberglass reproduction done from photos I took.

Afraid not BBK ! The one on the left is a 2 1/2 pounder and on the right is a 2 1/4 pounder. You may not be use to seein' them that big, but that photo is untouched and I defy you to have it professionally annualized !
