Great to hear.  I was scared as warm as it has been that the ice would have deteriorated badly.  Maybe head over around New Years.  I don't know what your schedule is like Big Ice, but I'll try to give you a call tonite.

Wyo Ice,
I just fished the day but it was daylight to dark, trying to catch the Walleye bite. That darn wind can spoil a day, I just don't like the wind but here in Wyoming it is something we just put up with. You get fish though good job! Traxion the ice is good. Here is a pic from yesterday! of my ugly mug! Crappie hopping see all my hole behind me!

Nice fish Big Ice. I have a question for you. Are you taking those pictures yourself with a tripod or do you have a buddy handy? It looks like your getting kind of artsy with em.  ;D

tumbleweed,
I fish most of the time by myself. I use a tripod. I have got into pictures this season and learned something about them for my son, you know those kids and computers. Its been kinda fun.

Nice fish Big Ice.  Going to try to come over this weekend, if the weather isn't too bad.  If it is bad I'll stick around here and make my yearly pile of sausage!!!!!  The b/w photo makes the ice look neat!!!

TOMB,
THERE'S BAIT AT THE BAR ON THE RIGHT AS YOU COME INTO PINEHAVEN. OR THE ACE STORE IN GILLETTE ALSO HAS BAIT.
MAYBE BIG ICE CAN CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG. I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE IN A YEAR.

tomb,
Sorry should have reply sooner. To many irons in the fire. Wyoming Ice is right at Pinehaven the place is now called Dugan's Bar and Grill they should have minnows #1-307-756-9707. Now I have heard sometimes they run out so call I don't get minnows there I Seine my own, so make sure to call them. Also the last I knew Ace Hardware in Gillette did NOT have minnows.

Tomb,
There are some pressure ridges. Be careful around them. The ice on the average is about 10". The ice always seems to be less close to shore around the rocks, so be careful close to shore around them. I don't know if I will be at the Lake this weekend but if I am I will try to let you know and we can visit and I give you some idea's where to fish.

I'll be over on Saturday.  Not sure where I am going to concentrate my efforts.  I'll be on foot with a Trap Guide.  Probably just me.  Stop and say hi if you are around.  Hoping to get there around 9:30 or so, fish till dark and a little after.  Hope I can slay a few!!!!

Tomb, it was a great day on the ice today.  Wind didn't hardly blow.  Crazy I know, as I drove in this morning I thought I was crazy.  But once I got there it was very nice.  Wind was picking up just as I left.  Caught lots of crappies, no real monsters, and a few eyes.

Big Ice-  Just wanted to say thanks again for the hospitality, direction, and bait today.  I had a great time.  We didn't run on to many walleyes but the crappies were fun.  It's nice to be on the ice with good people regardless of what we catch.  I plan on coming back soon.  Oh, thanks for the transport as well, it would have been a long haul w/o.  Tell Jim thanks again as well.  I'll be in touch.  THANKS!!!

I caught about a 1 pound marble eye and 2 more perch.  They all went back.  We left at noon on Sunday.  Got back in town just to run to Rods house for a few games of pool to finish off the beer supply we brought fishing.  If you guys are ever up here in Sheridan let me know and well go tilt a few back.  Thanks again and good luck
