Wow, it's been a while!

Kinda got out of the post habit but am thinking this is the site for my hard water adventure-reports.  I've been lurking, I admit   Is there a "lurker's anonymous" group meeting soon?

Ventured out to Big White Sunday, fighting our way through the fog. Man, for a day which was supposed to be warm, that was cold! Brisk south wind, 100% humidity.....fog never really did lift completely.

It was a slow day all around. Flags were few and far between, tulibee were uncooperative generally (they usually provide the "between flags" entertainment) - everything just seemed to be on neutral. Good ice all around - about 9 inches - easy walking. No one else on the lake....only saw 3 sleds all day.

Great to be out however.......an unremarkable start to the season, but things are bound to get better.

well then!!!....dig in yer cleats and shoot the bull..lol....great gang here and its only going to get busier once everyone starts getting some fish stories together...there's enough of us here from all over the province to keep everyone well informed....(without lurking lol)...Grump

To bad about teh fish Mr Rig but it was a nice day to be out.

Ive been out on the red a couple times and it hasnt been fast and furious. Sunday was dead dead dead.  Fished sugar island.

Gonna hit CIL this weekend.  Ive got Christmas Holidays coming up so should be able to get out somewhere other than the red.

Same at Matlock. Looked at the weather before we left, never bothered to take the shack....its going to be nice.  We were frozen by Noon.
