Your favorite jig tipped with your favorite bait is...

I looked through all the posts about your favorite color jig and came to the conclusion that just about everyone has a different favorite color combination.  There really was no clear winner for a most popular colored jig.  So let's take this a step further and see if there is a favorite color tipped with a favorite bait.

I'll say bright orange and a mousie.

orange with gold flake and a spike for me but with a twist. 6" below it a black dropper # 16 or 18 homemade fly w/ spike. 90% of last years fish were on the dropper.

A-Bomb
That's what I make my jigs out of # 16 & #18 Fly hooks with lead thread on em!
Works great! Mainly # 16's!

every year i walk thru the tackle aisle and think i'll see these in a genz box... secret is safe for another year. so simple but have saved many tough days
