A few shops haven't gotten shiners yet because of the warm weather, like Toms in Westford. Hopefully with the cold spell here they will stock up.

Would be surprised if granby bait wasn't fully stocked.  Best way to get bait is to go jigging or set traps.

Now that the ice is getting thicker, time to check in with some bait shops to see what they have in stock

Holy shiner, whats the story behind that? Could prob get a pin for that, though I doubt they give them out for bait 😂😂

It's a pond shiner, most of them aren't this big, they are usually used for pike bait.

One of the places I go its tough getting them smaller than that one.  On occasion I toss some of the really big ones back. Love to find a spot with a variety lol.

The day Granby doesn't have bait is going to be that no other shops have bait.  They are the supplier for 90% of the local bait dealers in the area.  They are loaded with bait from pike bait to roseys, spikes, mousies, etc.  Didn't ask for wax worms but imagine he has them as well.
