Anyone trap there own minnows for tipup bait. I was thinking of getting a few traps for the creek behind the house. What do you use that works well for bait?

I always catch my own minnows for tip ups. I like the 3 to 4 inch chubs.

I use cat food or dog food in the trap along with small balls of pressed bread. Works for creek chubs! washout hole downstream of culverts and bridges hold minnows along with any hole small or big with a foot or two of depth difference.
