Drove from southwest NH up the middle of the state to Pittsburg yesterday... Gonna be a very late start to the season, more water than skim ice...
Looking over 1st Connecticut now, it's 45 degrees out with standing water on top of refrozen break up...

I've fished PRP - not sure what it looks like now.  You might be OK on 1 of the small coves.  Bring a spud bar, ice picks, check as you go, drill lots of holes, stay away from moving water + dams, etc, etc, etc.

You might be better off at a smaller pond in the woods or driving north to find better ice, then use the house as kind of main hub & fish a bunch of places.

Would be good to have a plan B in case the ice is junky.
