Another newbie. Me and a friend try to get out a couple times a year. Looking to try to hit it harder. He lives in Helena and I'm outside of Great Falls. Would like to find a place that the travel is equal ish... I hear ice on holter can be sketchy. Any suggestions?

Holter ice can be sketchy as the current is strong, but it is a good fishery once it freezes up.
