pop up camper for a ice house

So i've aquired my dad's 12' aliner pop up camper after his passing.  I've been looking at it it's totally hardsided no canvas , it has a furnace a stove a cassette toilet .I'm thinking it's like 1200 lbs and has an off road kit (sits up pretty high) why couldn't I use as an ice house/shanty ? Anyone try this ? it sets up in like 20 seconds and pretty sturdy . my only thought is it's up off the ice about 24"

My condolences about your dad's passing to you & yours.
A neighbor had one for sale that gave me the same idea. It was a mid 80's apache.
After multiple drawings & ideas , there was no way to cut a spear hole in it near the middle without cutting support mains & widening, framing wasn't possible unless it was taken down to the frame& re-design on the base.
Needless to say I'm still dragging a Shappell
