Be careful up there. There are some natural underwater springs that make ice form uneven. Especially during warm up periods

dang, might head there on saturday for one last hurrah. I haven't hit it since early ice but the fish were aggressive and lots of smallies in 20 feet and occassional nice perch. I've heard there are some nice crappies, and they do stock rainbows.
There you go!
I need to do something similar with my surplus ammo…got so much $$ down there…😳 Some turkey loads are going for stupid money…

I'm confused by your comment. What are you talking about mobizz?

Wow, just googled to see if the clark's guide had some sort of online version... New copies of the 03 edition are going for $250 bucks on amazon and ebay. I've got like 10 copies between the different years... soon to be on ebay lol

I had never hear of that one, Merk. Are you all done at your usual spot?

It doesn't look like we'll be getting Mrs Chief out this year. I think the upcoming bluebird days will be a bit too slushy.
Thinkin 'bout cusk on the grill......

Still going, We always hope to fish into April, but we will move the Bobhouse this week to the boat launch cove. P was working alot of hours at her new job earlier in the season and really busy... No point bringing a guest in crappy conditions...which are coming if not here now, after this weekend... Last week was perfect mid winter ice conditions... Boston Lot Lake is a short trek up the hill from the Wilder Dam on the NH side. Got to catch it with snow on the trail or it rocky... get the heart pumping for sure...

Hope you got a out a bit. Fishing was good early, then a slump and last week we got 2 smallies ~2.5lbs and a good slime dart, along with some small ones...
Stay well and stay happy!
