Dunkirk harbor????

I had a friend ask about this location who lives in the area. Looks for chrome/steelies through the ice.
Any info would greatly be appreciated. PM if needed. I knew long ago ice was an issue when they discharged warmer water? Heard nothing recently, except whats in my old sanders guide.

The discharge has been shut down for years.  The wind will blow the ice out of there or make a mess of it sometimes.  Need to spud a lot. Right off the launch can be decent for trout.  I would be super cautious especially around any of the break wall and pier corners.  Some tip ups with emeralds or egg sacks and a jig rod feather jig works
