You will be missed here bud. At least you can still remain on Iceshanty and show us the other fish we miss around here. Count me in for coming up sometime this winter, give pitbell a ride up. Fish-slayer wants to come too.
I will be asking questions to clients that come to my place of employment. Some of them are in the know about the area. I will pump some of them for info especially if under the influence. Stay tuned
Congrats on the promotion. Good luck and get into some fish up there. I'm sure probably close to a foot of ice now up there.

Hey whiskey,
good luck in the far north... Don't freeze yer nuts off! Probably some excellent fishing up there, but I imagine not too exciting otherwise... cheers, from kelowna...

have not gone fishing yet. I've found a place to go that has 10lb walleye.0 minute sled ride into the lake is the only thing stopping me from going, , , , and a ice auger.

Hey Whisk, good to hear from you. Sucks about the auger( Pitbell = thief
). Aside from that, a 0 minute sled ride doesn't sound too bad
. Hope you get out soon.

Stop at Charlie Lake by FSJ if you're going to be in town. Beatton campground, drill anywhere you can find ice. You will not be disappointed. Walleye/Pike/Burbot/Perch. Lots of fun times at Charlie. I heard stories of BIG burbot out of there.

Hey Whisk. The hunting trip went O.K but I didn't connect. Saw a pig but I couldn't close in on him. Geoff got a nice 4x3 that should go 160ish. Will have to meet there next year. If the temps are the same as this year, we might even get to drill a hole or two. Found any promising lakes up there yet?
