« on: Feb 05, 2022, 06:20 AM »
Howdy folks,
Just wondering if any Indiana folks fish around the kzoo area? Figured Hoosiers would suggest more lakes then local mi forum. I somehow have never fished this area and gonna be up that way for trip Sunday morning. Normally go a lot further north . Hope everyone is wrecking em this weekend . Dm if you want and thanks for any suggestions.

Can’t help with this as I’ve never fished that area. I’ve driven through the area a bunch just never stopped. Sorry Chad and good luck up there. Hex

Thanks. Fished gull for a bit with no luck. Big body of water to fish with not a lot of deep water knowledge . Might try it again with more of a game plan and research

If I’m not mistaken they used to fish for smelt big time on Gull lake at night. I think there’s a thread on the Michigan shanty site devoted to just that subject. They used to talk about access problems and trespassing issues alot. I think the smelt population there has declined somewhat in recent years. Hex
