ION R1 Handle loose
«
on:

Hello all,
I have a Ion R1 Auger I got last year. I love the auger, but yesterday I noticed that the handle bars are coming loose. Is there an easy way to fix this issue? Is it just the torqes screw on the cuff? or is there more?
Thanks,
Bruce

Have you tried contacting Ion? It may just be a simple fix.

I phoned the local ION service guy. He broke it to me that I have to replace handle bars. I guess they tear as they are made up of thin crappy aluminum. I bought the bars for $75 and replaced them myself. Not a hard fix, just crappy I had to do it. I'm going to take my old set and get some fabricated out of steel. They extra weight is extra insurance.
