If Canadice is iced in safe, they always go to the south end in the weed bed for pickerel.

First step is get off the computer, grab gear and tip-ups,  go buy some bass shiners, put them out just about a foot above the tops of the weeds or at the edge of the weed beds in 5 to 16 feet of water. Have fun chasing flags. Always did well on pickerel on Honeoye and Canadice when purposefully trying for them.

South end of Honeoye by shore east side up about a 3/4 of a mile from the launch, north end of of Honeoye off of sandy bottom beach about 1/2 to 3/4 mile south (watch for gas holes). Along the shallow edges of weed beds around the perimeter of Canadice lake.

I have the gear do you go out by the launch or that one pathway and thank you for depth 5-16 ft along perimeter and south end

I would do the pathway south end. brings you out to lake and just walk out to middle area. anywhere there is a start.
You could do the walkway around the lake to get to other side and start off there.

No exact location. Drive south along the lake and you will come to a end of woods and a house on lake side. Trail is just before house on lake side. If people are out fishing you will see the vehicles parked. Trail takes you through woods and out on the lake. House and yard are private property so stay on wooded trail.
If cannot find trail, just a bit more south is a gated roadway that will take you around the south end and around to the other side. That roadway runs north end to south end of the lake.
Hope you enjoy. Be safe.

Location of trail to get on the South end is approximate on the map attached.
There are usually a couple vehicles parked along the road at the trail.

Generally good and busy pickerel action anywhere in and along the weedbed.
