Whitley/ Noble ice check in
« on: Jan 07, 2022, 02:50 PM »
Just checking to see if major water locked up or not. I’ve noticed ponds are solid and heard 2.5-3.5” on those.

Obvious first spots-
Crooked public access?
Round Public access?
Loon?
Chain o lakes?

I had 4 inches solid on my pond, while another part of the pond is completely open and probably skim over enough tonight to look solid but won't be. Caught a couple nice perch and gills and expect to gain some more ice through the night for fishing tomorrow. Be careful out there!

I checked Caldwell north of silver lake Saturday morning and it was far from safe for me. I went out to to a point were stopped that only had 2inches so back off. It will need another real cold blasts for four or five days.
