Hey guys just wondering if anybody has seen or heard anything from our Big lake as far as being locked up and if most arms are locked? Gonna make the drive regardless but was hoping to get anything I could beforehand.

There were guys fishing Squantz cove on 1/31 before the snow. Candy had locked up earlier that week so ice could not have been too thick. Not sure how it held up with all the snow.

I heard New Milford is frozen. Don’t know how thick.

Fished off of Skeleton Island today. No bites but glad to hit my spot that I did not get to last year. Guys fishing town park and by Squantz cove as well. Hope to start seeing some Candy reports.

Hi. Does anyone know if chimney point has been fished? I drove by Sunday and didn’t see anyone out there. I’ll probably check it tomorrow morning but I’m thinking if no one was out on a Sunday it might be questionable.

Thinking of heading down sunday. My buddies fished new milford last week and said there was 4in. Hopefully held up ok with the warmer weather.

Fished New Milford yesterday afternoon. Still holding solid at 4”. Fishes near opening of aqueduct. No fish or flags. Water was moving pretty fast as they were drawing down the lake. Hard to imagine why. Pretty late in the season to attempt to kill the milfoil.

Since when did they make the chimney point access only open to new Milford residents? I saw a bunch of signs warning about not parking there unless you have a permit.

News to me. Resident of New Milford,  don’t think it is enforced in the winter, but it probably depends on which officer you encounter.
