Eskimo Ice Auger
« on: Feb 06, 2021, 05:04 PM »
I have an Eskimo Mako 43cc auger. Pulled it out of the sled, started it on the first pull, placed it on the ice and go to pull the trigger and realized it snapped off! I was still able to use it because a small piece of plastic is still remaining. Has anyone had to replace an Eskimo trigger? I am pretty handy just want to know what I am up against. I sent an email to Eskimo inquiring about a new trigger. Any advise would be appreciated!

If I remember correctly, it is a little tricky because of the way the cable is routed through the handle. You might have to disconnect the cable from the carb

Thanks for the reply, I have been searching for a metal aftermarket replacement. Hopefully I can come up with something.
