Hello everyone
I usually tight line when I fish but I thought I'd share this for those who haven't tried it as a less exspensive way to fish spring bobbers. And to encourage others to share new idea's they use as well, I take an empty bic lighter, hold your hand over the top so you don't lose the spring. And pry the flint wheel off, the flint falls out and you get the spring, I take a round toothpick or something similar and put in one end. So the spring doesn't fill up then paint about a half inch with some brightly colored nail polish and let it dry, take the opposite end and stretch it out slightly for about a half inch. The end you've stretched out can then be wound around the tip of the your rod, I like to take a large sewing needle and put my line through it to thread through the spring. These springs have a soft gentle movement that can sometimes be very effective when other actions don't appeal to them, also if you wish you can bend them to the side. Making them easier to see at times, I hope this gives some of you another option to try, good fishing.
