First time put for this flatlander. Didn't rush, though as Guinea mentioned should've fished in the snow instead of the mix. Anyways, decided to try Moores since we're staying here. Slow as heck, one pick and one little bass for my Mary when we were packing up. Local told me there were big browns in there but he also said it can be slow, wish I had made the effort to get smelt in hindsight. Silver Lake home improvement is carrying shiners btw, only 5 bucks but basically smalls. Was still nice to be on 7 plus of consistent ice, didn't have the guts to try better spots with the snowcover.
