The road to brown town is a long one...  I was hoping for some bigger, fatter cutbows but instead I got 100 mediocre browns.

Nice!  I love fishing clear ice.  Heading out tomorrow first trip of the year just around here, would be happy with 10 mediocre browns haha.

Yep. Good to have another fisherman around on early ice.  No one else was out.

I talked to someone who fly fished it earlier this year and he was catching some nice cuttbows.  None could be found through the ice.  We caught several snake river cutts there a few years ago.

i always like catching browns, so pretty and they fight differently than bows.

so what if they are small, you got some stank onyou ! all that matters:)
