I am in Syracuse Indiana and I predict that the weekend of December 11 there will be fishable ice! Last year I fished good channels on DEC 14.

Looks like weather snaps cold right about then.  I'd love to think that we would have safe ice by Jan. 1.  Last few seasons have been such a kick in the junk when it comes to conditions.  We deserve a solid 4-6 weeks of safe ice around here.

I noticed that, today.  If the forecasts hold true (rarely), you might get lucky to get on Asylum Bay.  I had originally planned on running up there the Sun/Mon after Christmas, but that's not looking promising.
