A couple years ago there was an incident that involved Dave and myself. I made a brief comment about it on here, and when I talked to him a week later he said " I see we made the IS site" The subject line where I made that post had nothing to do with him or anything that he would pick up on, just a passing comment. So, I presume he does check in to keep up on the latest trends.
As far as being an IT diehard, he never really posts on there either.............

Yes Dave has posted at IT as there was a couple of posts he did last year when he recieved a ring . Of course some of these lads check out the forums because they are product pushers so need to know whats going on and it's not the first time I've got feedback either where someone well known has acknowledged checking things out here . You can't call yourself an icefisherman if you don't visit Iceshanty.com . Well that's anybody who has power and internet service  and even then there is usually newspaper coverage done at times when shantyers gather .

I've learned a lot of valuable info from Doug Stange over the years which has helped me become a better walleye angler.  I very much enjoy watching him on their shows as well.  He seems like a super guy and if I ever met him, the first thing I'd do is thank him for passing down some really good information which has helped me catch lots and lots of walleyes!  If you by chance read this, thanks Doug

Doug Stange is da man!!!  I too have learned a ton from his articles and watching Critical Concepts.
Then Fox Sports Net in my area replaced it with Addictive Fishing.  Which sucks.   Why would they put saltwater fishing in the Detroit market is beyond me.  Critical Concepts was an awesome show and it fit in with the type of fishing we do here.

Now all I have is Michigan Outdoors.

it makes me wonder, i talked of using crappie nibbles on my swimbaits, and later i saw it in infisherman magazine    that would be so cool, those guys are some great fisherman

Bummer.  I watch it on the Outdoor Channel on Monday nights at 8:30.  This past Monday they had some PWT tourney coverage on at 8 which is really cool to see right before critical concepts comes on.  Best one hour of TV ever   Now if I could just get Doug Stange to do a show on rock bass we'd be all set  

I bet Stange would school us MIRC members on how to catch rock bass.  Maybe just maybe Stange could so something on ice fishing for rock bass.  That would be awesome.
