Buy the cover, I gave wane that same lecture when his sleds got full of snow...the cover is good for keeping you spare stuff dry and the wind from blowing other stuff

Agree 100%, Joe!

I try with every catch report to be as detailed as possible without flat out giving the GPS coordinates, it’s more than enough to help someone so now people see why I go off when it’s still not enough for new fellas on here! Lollll thanks buddy!

Food for thought,

I went here yesterday specifically because I was expecting to be one of the first to capitalize on the Smelt getting ready to stage in this spot where they historically do. I figured with this weather, the melt, and rain right before flows would help bring the Smelt in even more.

The year we had the record ice out on winni it was this week they were there. To my surprise not a single Smelt was viewed. Could have also contributed to the egg bite. I guess things aren’t quite ahead as I thought.

Watch out for these big companies you will be surprised what they can do to the little guy. The buyout might be a good option get the money while you can and invest it. You guys have a ways to go before you will be able to collect on it.

Like I said before, strange season, usual patterns have not formed..seems like things have happened more from luck than happenstance.

This is excellent food for thought, Frank! It didn't happen to work out this time. But, it's a great example of being aware of conditions and recording mentally or written reports of catches and why! It puts you way ahead of random anglers. I hope your lesson is not overlooked.

You might be dealing with their lawyers down the road then you will need to get a lawyer... Chachink, chachink. You might be able to dump it into a tax free IRA if you take the buyout now. I would check into it.

I dumped my 401k and stock shares into a tax free deal, I’m gonna hold out longer on the pension buyout until the number gets a bit sweeter

We've been getting them in about 20 feet of air on live pigeons... The battle is epic...
