I was thinking of trying to fish 100+ fow for fish this ice season. I'm not sure if there are Macs in some of those bodies of water or not. What kind of fish have people found that Deep? Anyone ever have any luck finding fish that Deep? What should I look for for a good area to try it out? Any other tips or advise?

Other than lake trout, anything you catch over 25-30 feet deep would likely not survive the trip up to the surface.
Either way, if they’re there, most likely you’ll catch lake trout and cusk/burbot out that deep.

Don't know what bodies of water you are referring to but I have caught lake trout as deep as 250' out of Fremont lake near Pinedale. If there are lake trout in the lake it isn't uncommon to find them in over 100' of water. Just make sure you are using braided line or something else that doesn't stretch!
