New Gear for Colorado Ice, 2019

Got a few new custom flutter spoons from DX Lures to try out this year, 1/4 and 1/8 oz sizes.



I think the Clown green glow will be killer for trout, and the Candy Corn red glow should be awesome for perch and bass. Glow paints seem bright and last a long time. I’ll update on how they perform this season. Looks like they have a great selection of other custom patterns if you’re interested.

Anyone else have new gear for Colorado ice this season?

Well I’m debating on a few things! I want some good ice lures for walleye. I’m going to be heavily ice fishing grandpa Jimbo for walleye and some MA crappie hopefully.

What are you thinking for walleye? You could keep it simple and do fine with jigging raps and blades. Guys also do well with slender spoons, but I haven’t spent too much time trying them.

If you can follow Slayer around, you're going to be catching a lot of fish Good luck stalking and finding him though. Hes sly like a mountain lion. As far as new gear I just bought an otter thermal resort for ice camping. Great prices right now in the best ice deals thread

I did buy some new gear actually. Got some Sebille Vibrato blades. So far they work well-

Sweet vibration with just the slightest movement. Good hooks and don't "Snarble" nearly as much as my usual blades.
