It sure is starting to get busy on here.  It is still usually pretty slow this time of year, but everyone seems to really be getting the itch.  Scratch, scratch.  :woot:

I dont know if any of you are big panfish fishermen. But when bluegills get picky at the end of the season in open water. One of our most effective methods is to take the old icefishing pole out and jig vertical with a small eye. Have any of you guys tried this in open water? Its quite effective ;D

I try to practice my jigging all summer....   small jigheads tipped with a worm or shiner head has been my most effective method this summer..... ;)

Someone posted a link to Babe Winklemans site, on it was a story of a guy who built a shanty on a pontoon and cut holes in the floor. I cant remember the thread ???
