I’d rather just go do something outdoors myself. I think the last handful of expos I went to years ago solidified that. They progressively got craptier year after year.

They use to be great but now they are just full of guide services and charter boat companys not to mention knick knack vendors.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day teach him how to fish and he will sit there and drink all day!!

I do believe the ice will still be around for next weekend and I will be on it instead of paying to look at stuff I can find online or in stores, those expos and gun shows are a waste of time and money..IMHO>>>>

With the weather patterns that we have, we'll be ice fishing for another month.

I know it’s an unpopular mindset on this forum, but I don’t think the salmon/lake trout lakes are going to b open for trolling for a while and I was just getting excited for it today with the nice weather....

That expo was a total waste of time the last time I went. I had heard it was gray in the years before I went.

It doesn't look like they'll be open for the 1st. I had 18 inches on a lake trout/salmon lake today, and we're getting possibly record cold this week.

I will be there to support my son. He has joined the NH Bass Masters Jr this year and will be working/supporting his fellow anglers.

Luckily the month of April you can do just as well from shore, I do anyway. Most of the likely spots will be ice free no matter what. Sucks to haveto combat fish them though at the more popular areas

Critta, I about buried my auger at the little pond I went to today! Crazy ice out there!

Draz, I would do the same. That's awesome that he's so into it, and has a supportive Dad.

I've never been to an expo myself. Too much outdoors to experience this time of year. If they did it on a chilly October weekend, I might show up. :)

Yeah, but at gun shows you don’t need background checks or a I.D. Just ask Democrats  ::)

Up your way sort of, lakes region. 30 plus on the ice, I parked the Ion and have been using the jiffy the past few weeks, no need  to work the electric that hard when I have options,

About the only people making money at these shows, gun shows, outdoors shows, bike shows..are the promoters. They charge a fee to the seller and also charge you to go in and look, how do you lose that way?
