simple question
« on: Mar 01, 2019, 10:16 AM »
What's the snow cover like on the big lake, preferably Moultonborough Bay?
Plan on heading up tomorrow AM and want to know what I'll be walking on/through to get to where I want to go.

On wednesday there was a few inches of hard packed snow, it was packed enough and cold enough to walk on top of all day

Just got back from there 3-4 in. packed snow with a crust that breaks thru every step, walking is ok but you'll know your legs are there if you need to go more than a mile or two. Good luck fishing
