Caught a bow today had quite a few crayfish. In it's stomach. Never seen this before. Bow was about 14"

Neat. Seen em with a crawdad or two before but not jacked up with them like that. Had one all stuffed with these teeny little snails.

The rainbow was in about 11fow took him on a shiners on a jig stick just sitting in a whole. I was at about 7.5ft deepwith my bait

Imight i be mistake but I would have thought that is a Brook trout ? Red dots .

The fish on the tape is a different fish then the one cleaned

Definitely a Brook Trout. Red dots, white fins. Nice one.

A shell fish lover for sure, nice report, I have crayfish flavored power bait that works well in some lakes,Wakewan, and Canobie come to mind.

Fished Third Lake in Pittsburg a few years ago and any bows we kept were loaded with small crayfish. We used them for bait and it worked especially when we jigged them.

Do you butterfly or fillet the rainbow? 14” rainbows almost enough for a sandwich should of cooked the crawfish too

The rainbow ow got filleted. And the big Brook trout got dressed up nice to be stufffed

Probably could have used 4 or 5 of those dead crawfish for bait!

That is impressive, especially for a 14" trout -- once saw a 15" Brown caught with about a 9" Spotted Salamander in its belly...!
