It should hold thru this warm spell as long as we don't get a lot of rain...supposes to be windy

Killed them out there early today and then went to flint it was slower but we nailed them! Best day of the year as leading up to this weekend it has been hit or miss for me.

Took the wife and boys out tonight. The honey hole was to weak for us to get on, so I brought them to Loomis instead. Haven’t fished this lake in years, and I never fished it during ice season. Tip ups were slow, but they did manage one small lrg mouth that we released. Thanks for the “shout out” from the near by fishing crew for the tip-up!
The bite turned on the hr before sunset and kept up til dark when we left. I caught one crappie and some gills, but the boys lit them up. We ended up with 32 between us. Everyone had a blast and many funny memories were made.
