I hear that is a hard lake to fish . BUT I have also seen and heard the quality and size of fish are rewarding when you can find them , if I remember rite someone caught like a 18 inch crappie on one of those lake a few years back ..... Another thing to keep in mind is that area it's self isn't the greatest. My grandfather was out there a couple years ago looking for a night bite and ended up having a guy unxip his shanty and try to Rob him .... Needless to say my grandfather is a stubborn hard ace and the guy ended up on the ice . And found out what ice cleats to the throat felt like ! The guy too took off and my grandfather never had a issue there again
