Haven't looked this year but usually it's a 4 line body of water regardless what you're targeting.   This is be cause it was designated as a "test" water.  The "test" has been going on for like 30 years now.  No Bows that I know of.  It can be a fun place to get into smaller size Lakers.

4 lines total.  Vermont does not have special "cusk" lines, so you need to have immediate control of them at all times. (30 minute rule, pg 31 in the book)

You can fish at night (tipups or jigging), but not allowed to leave lines unattended overnight.

No concerns, lots of ice, but as of last Monday, a lot of snow as well. Snow was about 2 feet
with 15-16 inches of ice.  My guess is the severe cold coming in should freeze up the slush. All set till the end of
trout season.

I'm going to Seymour this weekend for the first time.  Any suggestions on a decent spot to start?  Thanks in advance for any advise.  Mainly targerting lakers and salmon but would be intrested in catchin a cusk as well.

IMHO,go to the left from the launch about 1/2 mile set your 4 tip-ups at a ninety degree angle from the shore from 40 feet to 70-80 . Set up off the bottom for lakers and a few feet under the ice for salmon

I've only ever fished there one time, and that was trout opener a few years back. We hammered dink lakers and caught several burbot/cusk. Dead smelt on the bottom will get you both all night long if you stay over night. Otherwise lakers hit on live bait and dead bait near the bottom. we were just off the access in 40FOW
