Pontoosuc, Onota, Stockbridge bowl, Richmond Pond, Goose Pond, Laurel Lake, Lake Buel, Windsor Pond, Windsor Lake, North Pond, or Otis Reservoir hold trout. MA fish and game website does a good job at reporting when and where they stock trout. Check it out. Good Luck! https://www.mass.gov/service-details/trout-stocking-report
Would like to try onota but stockies will do just need safe ice
How about Greenwater pond ?
Decent trout to be had some sizable due to smelt. Problem is access is terrible and quite frankly fishing next to 90 is less than ideal. As of now you cant get on to safe ice there from the access.
Colebrook res.on the mass Ct.line has some huge browns and a good smelt pop. Its a real big place electronics are almost a must.a little bit of a ride but worth it.
Colebrook is a toilet now. It's not what it used to be.
Looking at trying to do some trout fishing in the berks but am completely going into it blind. Anyone willing to share any locations to help get me started[caught a couple thursday at goose pond, safe ice about 7inches should be more now
