a great bargain at Phillipson's in Oneida..........not

Had to go to the Chiropractor this pm and had a little time to kill so dropped by Phillipson's as it is around the corner, almost.  So I happpened to meet a friend there and we were checking out the fishing tackle and in the middle of the isle was a box full of berkley crankbaits marked $2.48 each and the sign said store special 2 for $4.97   What a bargain!  so we pointed out the fact that the "special" was actually a penny more expensive than the singular price and the guy in the sporting goods department just said oh yeah and laughed.

I know everybody is a big fan of wally world but they had frabill thermal tipups for 2 bucks last week yeah $2.00!!! pimples for $.50 I couldn't belive it end of the year closet must be anyway I got 3 frabils and as many jigs I could fit in my hand oh ueah they had a 7 inch auger for 15 bucks the blades cost more than that LOL..

Once at a local gun show, the owner of the shop I worked at and I displayed some video tapes we had received from Federal ammunition. The tapes were free. There was a nice sign by Federal stating that.

After about 10 people asked how much they were, we started to play around. We put up a sign  that read "Free video tapes..$5.95 each, 3 for $20.00 "

I swear to you that at least 10 more people tried to buy the tapes from us. A couple of them even tried to talk us down from $20.00.
