Flasher sonar help
« on: Dec 30, 2018, 06:28 PM »
Im new to these products..
I bought a Garmin echo map 63cv

I realized i will likey only use it for ice fishing, and that the sonar mode is useless for ice fishing

The digital flasher was nice, but i really wasnt impressed..

Does anyone have a recomendation on a good unit?
It seemed that the lure gave off a lot of disturbance, and it basically took up a 6” section on the flasher, it was a large line and there would be no way of really telling if there were fish there

Any advice on best practise or how to for flashers? Or should i have got a different brand that focus’s on units like that, rather than garmin where the unit has advanced mapping..

I can return the product im just a bit lost on what to get

Any advice would be great

never used that type as I have a Marcum but I would recommend if you haven't already try adjusting the sensitivity
