need help cleaning pike. tried following these instrucions w/ pics. that i got in a free magazine. look like it would work well. was not impressed w/ the results. so i'm now in surch of a better way. also was wondering if i should just send them back down after a pic. and measuring.

I have not researched all the posts here on the forum so I don't know if this method has been posted, however it sure is easy and it is just like filleting any other fish except for two additional cuts per fillet. Completely boneless. Here is the link and if it is pre-mentioned I'm sorry.

If you like herring, you'll love pickled pike, and after fileting and you still have bones, the pickling disolves the bones.
Check the hardwater cousine thread on this site for pickling recipes.
