Smelt run on West Caroga
« on: Mar 14, 2006, 09:22 PM »
I was wondering if the smelt run black in the streams of west caroga or any of the neighboring lakes. Its getting to be that time of year and I need a place to go. If somebody could please tell me of places to go I would gladly appreciate it. ;)

Usually it's about a day or two after ice out on W. Caroga, but I've never seen them "run black", I know Indian has tons of smelt this year but I've never dipped them there before.

A Couple Reasons Why Fishing is Better Than Sex!

1. Nobody expects you to Fish with the same partner for the rest of your life

2. There are no Fishing-transmitted diseases.

3. If your partner takes pictures or videotapes of you Fishing, you don't have to worry about them showing up on the Internet if you become famous.

4. It's perfectly respectable to Fish with a total stranger.
